About Jeff
Rooted in two decades of fitness education and practical experience, RealignU Personal Training was born from a vision to redefine fitness through long-term functionality. Jeff Butler founded this private studio to bridge the gap between myofascial release, therapeutic stretching, cardiovascular conditioning, and sustainable strength building, including all of these components with a more "macro" strategy, allowing for a variety of progressions depending on where the client is coming from.
We believe that health begins with alignment. Our approach addresses restrictions in the fascia first, unlocking a path to greater flexibility and pain-free movement. At RealignU, your journey isn't just about the next workout—it's about empowering you to move better and live stronger for a lifetime.
Jeff has a BSBA degree from the University of Missouri , but found his passion in the fitness industry in 2009, after a lifetime of strength training and more extreme cardiovascular exercise. He was employed at Bally Total Fitness briefly before joining the Gateway Region YMCA in 2012, where he remained until 2020. RealignU was founded in 2016 as an "add on" to what he was doing at the Y.

Jeff Butler
Jeff has worked just as hard, if not harder, to be Exhibit A of the RealignU collection of exercises. He has come to the firm conviction that this is a strategy that works best for those who are middle aged and beyond, especially if they’ve come from a sports and/or fitness oriented past.
